The Berkshire Community Action Council carried out a comprehensive internal and community needs assessment between September 2019 and March 2020. Additional data was gathered after March 2020 in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our community. BCAC’s Community Needs Assessment showed a clear consensus on Housing, Jobs, and Transportation as key issues for Berkshire County, with Food Insecurity also representing a significant issue.
