This is a joint program for funders and nonprofits. Additionally, this session could apply to all funders and nonprofits regardless of a direct connection to democracy work.
Philanthropy for Active Civic Engagement (PACE)’s Civic Language Perceptions Project seeks to understand peoples’ perceptions of the language associated with civic engagement and democracy work. In addition to the nationally representative survey of 5,000 registered voters, with the support of The Klarman Family Foundation, PACE completed an oversample of voters in Massachusetts.
In this session, hosted by Philanthropy Massachusetts, participants will have a chance to explore how the Massachusetts sample aligns with national data, which groups people in Massachusetts most associate with the studied terms, and compare how terms are viewed by different demographic groups.
