We know that women continue to face more barriers than men to obtaining money to start and grow a small business, and women of color face even more barriers. We want to make sure a lack of information isn’t one of those barriers. On this panel, we will pull together information on different sources of capital and who they are right for. The panel will explore:
- SBA loans and eligibility requirements
- Kiva.org and how to use their platform to raise capital through a 0% interest loan up to $15,000
- NH Community Loan Fund’s programs including their Community-Driven Economic Empowerment grant, and Minority-Owned Small Business Loans
- Finding and accessing microloan programs through places like Regional Economic Development Corporation (REDC)
- Tips to prepare for applying for any funding opportunity, and navigating online application processes
