The MassWildlife Habitat Management Grant Program provides assistance to private and municipal owners of protected lands to enhance wildlife habitat, while promoting public access for outdoor recreation.
Through this reimbursement grant program, MassWildlife seeks to establish partnerships with private or municipal landowners of conserved lands for work conducted to enhance habitat for native wildlife species (especially climate-vulnerable wildlife habitats to make them more resilient to climate change) and to promote public access for wildlife associated recreational opportunities.
