The Air Sensor Grant Program enables grant recipients to monitor fine particulate matter (PM2.5) levels in outdoor air in their local communities, which can be a significant airborne pollutant that impacts public health.
Applicants must apply for a minimum of five (5) sensors, and may request up to ten (10) air sensors, which must be installed outdoors. Applicants are encouraged to partner with residents, schools, community organizations, companies, and other local organizations that work on public health and environmental justice issues to pick locations for the sensors.
